Waity was a well known, much loved, member of a wide community. Her gentle nature and her love for her community was evident every time we met her. Every year I marvelled at the intricate work she put into her items entered in the Dunchurch Fall Fair. I will miss seeing her name on so many tickets with Red ribbons. Our sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

-Norm & Muriel Stiles

Sending my condolences. She was a very nice lady. Glad she lived a long life.

-Brenda Catalano

We are saddened at Waity’s passing. She was a wonderful woman, respected by all. Our first encounter with her was in 1967 when we joined the DAS. She was a director at that and and served as Secretary. Wonderful to work with and very consistent exhibitor. She will be missed by the whole community and her extended family.

-Bill & Judy Quinn

Steve and the family have all my thoughts and sympathy. I have known Waity since I was four and feel like I have lost a beloved aunt. She was a wonderful person.

Heart-felt condolences to all! Waity meant a lot to all of us, and our parents too, for so many years. Even when visits were rare, the image of her up at the house on the hill with her needlepoint & gardens was a joy. An indelible memory. 102 is remarkable, and Steve — your care & support got her there. Family and friends will never forget her.

-Kris & Len Hutchings +. Holly, Jackie, Davis

So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom Steve. Sending extra big hugs to you during this time. I know she’s hanging out with Beatty watching over the harbor.

-Jessica Taylor

So many people will miss Waity who was a foundational part of her community for longer than almost any can remember. Her memory will be long kept alive through her many contributions. Our condolences to all who will share in this loss.
