VIMY PARR
Vimy Pauline (née Phillips) Parr passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Lakeland Long Term Care on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, two days before her 106th birthday.
Beloved wife of the late Alf Parr. Dear sister of the late Hannah Willett, Ruby McKeown, Clara LaBrash, Jean Phillips, Dalton Phillips, Violet Lebert, Roy Phillips, and Kenneth Phillips. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Vimy’s family would like to extend a sincere “Thank you” to the staff at Lakeland Long Term Care for the compassion and love which they showed Vimy.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound, on Tuesday, May 6th, from 11:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
Funeral Service will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 6th, at 12:30 P.M.
Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, or Lakeland Long Term Care would be appreciated.

My sincere condolences to the family. Vimy was considered as a very kind person. Remember visiting her clothing store many times and I enjoyed chatting with her then. She was a “Grand Lady”R.I.P Vimy.

I have very fond memories of my aunt Vim growing up. She always took the time to check in and do a visit. Aunt Vim was also generous with her time and would help out where she could, like running errands for the seniors at the home when she was in her late 80’s, an amazing person.
