Ronald Robert Turner passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Sunday, February 20th, 2022. Age 89 years.

Ron was a loving husband of the late Florence Joan Turner. Dear father of Barry (Shirley), Rob, Greg, Larry (Cathy), and the late Keith. Cherished Grandpa to thirteen, and great grandfather of three. Dear brother of Ethel Perryman. Fondly remembered by other family, and friends.

Ron loved ballroom dancing, especially dancing the tango with his wife Joan. He loved farm life, his big machines, animals, race cars, growing his own vegetables, and meeting up with his friends for lawn bowling and bowling. He also had a creative mind for making unique inventions, and dabbling in new things.

At Ron’s request, cremation will take place, and a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
