This beautiful child, Ron Garbett, lived to love the lake and everything about those beautiful places.

Ronald Ernest James Garbett died on March 12th, 2025 in the Palliative Care Unit of West Parry Sound Health Centre.

He was predeceased by his father, James Garbett (d.1967), his mother Edith (Young) Garbett (d.1975), his brother Theodore McKnight (d. 2019) and his beloved niece, Gail (McKnight) Sharpley (d. 2025). Remembered by Don, Mark and Marilyn McKnight.

Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the hospital and the many health and community care workers who assisted Ron over the last few years. Ron says good bye to his many friends and acquaintances in the community, and a very special thank you goes out to his dedicated and dearest friend, Glenn Carruthers.
