Peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday September 28, 2024, at the age of 60 years.

Rick was the beloved husband of Louise (nee Ayotte) Kerr, and the loving father to Kayla Dallaire (Luc), and Kristine Kerr. He was the cherished step-grandfather to Alex, and Karleigh Dallaire. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Jane Axford and his brothers and sisters in-law as well as his many nieces and nephews. Rick is predeceased by his parents Duncan Kerr and Gail (nee Davis) Kerr and his niece Julia Axford.

He will be greatly missed by his buddy “Buster” and his grand pooches Opie and Piper. Rick loved spending his summers at the Georgian Bay cottage or as he called it “Gods country” with his family listening to country music, drinking beer and always fishing for the big one. He kept in contact with his many friends as they meant a great deal to him.

The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (Sturgeon Falls) on Sunday, October 6, 2024, between the hours of 11:00am to 1:00pm with a celebration of Rick’s life to follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Burial will occur at a later date.
