RAYMOND ROY
It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Roy announces his sudden passing at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Sunday, March 27th, 2022. Age 62 years.
Beloved husband and best friend of Claire for 40 years. Loving father of Pamela (Mark), Amanda (Harry), and Sylvia (Rob). Cherished Papa of Layla, Sura, Rowan, James, Olivia, and Colby Ray. Dear brother of Verna, Yvon, Ronald, and the late Richard. Loving son of the late Victor and Desneiges Roy. Forever remembered and dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Raymond loved his family above all, with his grandchildren being his pride and joy. He enjoyed travelling, but loved coming home to beautiful Georgian Bay. Ray appreciated good food and a glass of red wine with Claire by his side, and also enjoyed going for coffee with his buddies. He reminded everyone to “live life to the fullest”, and “don’t sweat the small stuff”. Raymond will be deeply missed.
Raymond’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff who have been so kind to Raymond and his family.
A Memorial Visitation for Raymond will take place at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound on Saturday, April 9th, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M., with Vigil Prayers from 1:45 – 2:00 P.M.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
