PENNY ARMSTRONG
Penny Ann (Bolger) Armstrong passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Thursday, July 24th, 2025, at the age of 74 years.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Armstrong. Daughter of the late Dolly Bolger. Loving mother of Cory (Connie), Tracey (Cameron), and Jeremy (Leigh). Adored by her grandchildren Nicholas (Linda), Brittany, Nathan (Mackenzie), Sarah, Summer (Dominic), Isabel, Percy, Connor and great grandchildren Charley, Myah, Aurora, Oliver, and Greyson (predeceased). Dear sister of Sandra (Stan), Mike (Jing), and the late Judy. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Nancy, and brother-in-law Wayne, and by her many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A sincere ‘Thank you’ to Dr. Knight and Dr. Frere and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit, and the Home Care Team for their warm compassion for Penny and her family.
As was her wish, cremation will take place and a private gathering in her honour with family and friends will take place at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the West Parry Sound Health Centre, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Gone Fishing with Don
I thought I’d better let you know
The reason I’ve gone missin;
I’m where there’s ten-pound angelfish,
That’s right I’ve just gone fishing;
A man named Peter at some gates
Asked if I had permission.
My angler’s licence got me in.
And now I’m happy fishin.
The waters here are crystal clear;

In this lovely Heaven river;
My old Dad’s casting by my side,
And my dear Mom I’m a Kissin;
