PAUL BEGGS “Paul the Breadman”
Paul Anthony Christopher Beggs passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025. Age 72 years.
Beloved husband of Diane (Downey) Beggs for 39 years. Loving Dad of Christopher Beggs and his wife Jamie-lee; Benjamin Beggs and Jennifer Picard; Harmony and her husband Bruce Archer; Nicolena and her husband Kyle Davison. Loving Papa of Ollie, Fynnigan, Kayce, and Scottie May. Loving son of the late Jim and Macrina Beggs. Dear brother of Lynda and her husband Jack Tranter; and Pete Beggs (Lynne Robinson). Paul will be fondly remembered by Diane’s siblings: Ronnie (Karen), Paul (Linda), Peter, and Jimmy (Carol). Also remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
As was Paul’s wish, cremation has taken place.
A Funeral Mass in Celebration of Paul’s Life will take place at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Thursday, January 30th, at 1:00 P.M.
Reception to follow in the Knight’s of Columbus Hall.

-The Other BeggsThe World has lost a wonderful person. I've known Paul since he bought dads (Phil Brook) yellow warehouse on Pine Drive (where Harveys sits now.) Paul was wearing shorts in winter then too. Paul challenged Phil to wear his shorts as long as he could. Phil gave in at Halloween and Paul continued til January. Such memories !!! Keep the slices upright on the trays, Paul. Take a rest, you deserve it.
