Norah Josephine Giroux (Longlade) passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care on Monday February 16th 2009. Age 89 years.
Survived by her children in marriage with Napoleon Longlade James Longlade and Hedy of Port McNichol; Mona Collier and Edward of Oakville; Germaine Ingram and John of Kitchener; Donna Longlade of Shawanaga;
Ann Joubert and the late Denis of Lumby B.C.;
Marilyn Capreol and Rick of Shawanaga Bay;
and her late infant son Gerald Longlade. Will be remembered by her many grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by siblings Stanley Andrew Francis Giroux and Louise Pawis. Dear sister in law to Irene Pawis. Fondly remembered by her nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Shawanaga First Nations Community Centre on Thursday February 19th 2009 from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. Life Circle Celebration to take place for Norah Waabanong Kwe in the community centre at 1:00 P.M. Interment Shawanaga First Nations Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound (746-5855). In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimerís Society or the
Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
