Murray Allen Orr Sr. passed away peacefully, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019. Age 82 years.

Beloved husband of Doreen for 62 years. Loving father of Randy (Trudy); Wendy Baron (David); Michele Ryman (Peter); Carol Parton (John); Murray Allen Jr. (Bryanne); Mark (Lori); and Sarah Priaulx (Ron). Adored Grandpa of 17, and Great Grandpa of 8. Dear brother of the late Doug (Arva); Joyce Abbott (Buck); Howard (Ginny); and Margaret Atherton. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at the West Parry Sound Health Centre Acute Care and Palliative Care for their wonderful care and compassion for Murray and the entire Orr family.

A Celebration of Murray’s Life will take place on Monday, September 9th, 2019 from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Charles W. Stockey Centre.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Helping Kids Play Foundation, the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation (Palliative Care), or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Barb and I wish to express our most heartfelt sympathies to Murray's extended family on the passing of Cliff's life long family friend. I have many childhood memories from the 1940's playing with the River street gang. Rest in peace old friend.
