Murray John Alves, WW II Veteran, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Monday, June 16th, 2014. Age 91 years.

Beloved husband of Marie for 69 years.

Loving father of Dan and his wife Karen; Gary (wife the late Lindsay); and the late Larry.

Dear grandfather of Chris and his wife Peggy; and Kirk and his wife Jennifer.

Loving great grandfather of Jordan, Liam, Landon, Kolby, Rylen, and Kacie.

Dear brother of Royce, Elsie Derosier, Douglas (Jan), and the late Minnie Steggs, and Ruby Petty.

Fondly remembered by his brother in law Theo (of Belgium), his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home on Sunday June 22nd, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.

A Celebration of Murrayís Life will take place on Sunday June 22nd, at 2:00 P.M. in the Logan Memorial Chapel. Reception to follow.
