MARY PORTER
Mary McQuade Henderson Porter, of McDougall, Ontario, passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Friday, June 12th, 2026 at the age of 83.
She leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Ken Porter. Beloved Mom of Paul and Chris; and Step-mum to Gina (Nick); Tish (Kelly); and George (Moe). Loving grandmother of Emma, Rachel, Gabriel, Jesse, Ben, Veronica, Maury, Charlee, Kp, and Georgie. Mary will be lovingly missed by her surviving siblings and by her nieces and nephews. Also remembered by her friends as a Prayer Warrior and a daughter of the King.
Mary’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mary’s medical team, including Care Partners, and the team at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.
A Service in Celebration of Mary’s Life will take place at Bayside Family Church on Saturday, June 20th at 2:00 P.M. Guests are invited to wear bright colours to honour Mary’s passion for fashion.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre (Dialysis Unit) would be appreciated.
