Margaret Shaw McCourt passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at the age of 86 years.

Beloved wife of the late Allan McCourt. Loving companion of her very dear friend Clare Heidman. Dear mother of Sandra Hayhurst (Bob), and Drew McCourt. Loving Grandma of Melissa, Sharon (Brad), and Joshua.

As was Margaret’s wish, cremation has taken place.

Over the years, Margaret was very active in the Eastern Star, Parry Sound Seniors, and other community events.

Margaret did not enjoy good health in her last few years and struggled immensely, may she now be at peace.

A private family celebration will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
