LINDA BEIRNESS
Linda Eileen Beirness (Cox) passed away peacefully, at Lakeland Long Term Care on Sunday, November 5th, 2023. Age 78 years.
Beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Beirness for 58 years. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Crystal, and Kevin and his wife Colleen. Cherished Grandma of Keedan (Katelynn), Hunter and Charlie. Dear sister of Rhoda Bailey (the late Edgar), Garry (Heather), and the late Margaret “Cookie” Doucet (the late Marty). Sister-in-law of Mary Quinton (the late Pete), Evelyn Wagg (Ernie), and the late Stan (wife Marilyn). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
As was Linda’s wish, cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at the Church of the Redeemer, Rosseau, on Saturday, November 25th from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.
A celebration of Linda’s life will take place at the Church of the Redeemer, Rosseau, on Saturday, November 25th at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow at the church – Frost Hall.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I’m so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing and your loss. It seems like yesterday we were chatting in the hospital together. I’m very sorry I’ll be out of the country for Linda’s service, but my thoughts will be with you.

Linda and I and Marilyn spent alot of time together and I’ll miss her very much!! I want to give Bob and the kids my deepest condolences. I feel so bad I didn’t get to spend some time with her later in life, but she is always on my mind and cherished forever in my heart!!
