Leno Tonello passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024. Age 94 years.

Loving Dad of Dean (Janet), Bonnie (Glenn), Rhonda, and dear father to Darlene, Ken, and Tom. ‘Nono’ will be lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Santo, Eddie, Frank, and the late Lena. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound, where friends will be received on Sunday, June 16th from 1:30 – 4:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Family Church, Britt, on Monday, June 17th,
at 11:00 A.M. Visiting prior from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.

Interment Britt Community Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Holy Family Church, the Britt Legion Branch #591 (donations by cheque only, please), or the Britt Nursing Station would be appreciated.

Leno was such a wonderful neighbor who welcomed me with his warm smile, the moment I moved into my house. He was always looking out for me. I remember one time he came over when I was shoveling my driveway and said; "Slow down! You're gonna give yourself a heart attack" Now I always think of him when I shovel snow. He was such a beautiful soul. I will miss him dearly.
