LAURA GOODWIN
Laura Jean Goodwin passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Friday, January 2nd, 2026. Age 98 years.
Beloved wife of the late Norman. Loving mother of Lorne Goodwin and his wife Rosemary, and Jean Goodwin. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Sean; Laura; Max (Celisse); and Bryant. Dear sister of Mary Thomas and John Bennett (Janice). Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Calvin, sisters-in-law Susan and Mary, her nieces, nephews, other relatives, son-in-law David, and friends.
Laura was a much-loved kindergarten teacher for many years, and later operated Beacon Marine in Pointe au Baril with her husband Norman.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family celebration of Laura’s life will take place at a later date.
