Jonathan Kevin Reid passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Friday, June 14th, 2024. Age 68 years.

Beloved husband of Patsy Reid (Emerson) for 45 years. Loving father of Dakota, Chris, and Ken.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound, where friends will be received on Saturday, June 22nd, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Cremation to follow.

Interment Foley Memorial Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre (I.C.U.) would be appreciated.

Condolences

Our hearts are hurting over Johns passing. We have lived beside you for a long time now. There are lots of memories of seeing John puttering around outside , going to get the mail, even shovelling around my mailbox , after Tim had already plowed and it had to be done again or the mail lady wouldn’t stop! I remember him outside at night when Dakota was younger, holllering for him when all the time he was down here. He will be missed.

John was my cousin. I will remember him as being very sweet and kind . He really enjoyed chatting it up wherever we met and always was asking about the rest of my family. He wasn’t shy and was ready for a family hug. He and his family are in my prayers and I will miss his friendliness.

I will never forget when I came to Parry Sound to visit grandpa uncle John opened his arms to give the biggest hug and his smile and laugh was so inviting. Both my dad and I send our condolences.
