John Lenord Swartz passed suddenly and peacefully in the presence of his wife and grandson after a brief, yet hard fought battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee: Jennings) for 49 years. Super Dad of Lenny (Wendy), Barbie (Mike Biscaro), Missie (Kevin), and the late Johnny. Much loved Papa – ‘the Man, the Myth, the Legend’ of Johnny, Joey, Jordan, Justin, Bailey, Aaron, Jamie, Logan, Nathan, and William. Cherished great Grandpa to Violet, Olive, Sosi, Brooklyn, Taylor, and Masyn. He will be forever missed by his 10 siblings, their spouses, and his many, many nieces, nephews, the Jennings family, and too many friends to count. Sunday mornings will never be the same for his best friend Al Mueller. He joins his son Johnny, parents Tom and Eloise Swartz, and brother Greg.

At his request, cremation has taken place wearing his Nascar jacket signed by Ryan Newman, so Ryan can have his back on his journey to join his son in heaven.

A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Childrens Cancer Research or Ryan and Krissie Newman’s Rescue Ranch would be appreciated by the family.
