JOHN McGILL
John Gordon McGill passed away peacefully with family by his side at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Sunday, June 1st, 2025. Age 83 years.
Loving husband of Donna McGill (nee: Ramsay) for 55 years. Loving father of Scott (Nancy). Cherished Grampy of Hayden (Raevyn), Sarah, and Jack. Dear brother of Helen (the late Doug), Lynda (Kevin), and the late Robert (Lynne), Ross (Glenna), Terry, and Jim (Margaret). John will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special “thank you” to Dr. Honsinger, Dr. Madigan, the Palliative Care Nurses, and the Homecare Team for their wonderful care of John, and for their kindness and compassion.
As was John’s wish, cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound, on Monday, August 11th from 11:00 – 12:00 P.M.
A Service in Celebration of John’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 11th at 12:00 noon.
Reception to follow.
