John Ross Roland West passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Saturday, November 27th, 2021. Age 80 years.

Loving father of Kelly West and Christine West. Dear Grandpa of Scott and John. Dear son of the late Theodore and Ruby. Brother of Dennis, Arnold, Glenna, Dan and Patti and the late Doug, Ken, Norma, Winifred, Vern, Mark, Carol, Gerry, Bob, Ted and Glen. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A sincere “thank you” to the staff of the West Parry Sound Health Centre for their excellent care of John.

Cremation has taken place. Interment Foley Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

It is with deep sadness that I write this to the family.I knew Jack for many years . I first met him when he worked at Sheridan Outfitters , he was always helpful and personable there.I worked with him years later at Georgian Bay Plumbing where he was a counter person and also helped to keep things somewhat organized. My wife and I became good friends of the family over the years spending lots of time together whether it be at house parties or at the bowling ally as a large group of us were avid bowlers. He and his wife Pat were always lots of fun to socialize with. My heart goes out to the family especially Kelly and Crystal and Christine he will be sorely missed .

Bill worked with Jack for several years at Georgian Bay Plumbing. When we met Jack and Bill would chat about old times, He was always cheery and talkative. Our condolences to his children and his remaining siblings. He will be missed. Bill & Judy Quinn
