John (Jack) Theodore Cooney WW II Veteran R.C.L. Br. 117 AF/AM Granite Lodge 352 Eastern Star passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care on Saturday November 12th 2011. Age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Janette (Jessie). Loving father of David of Parry Sound; Jane and her husband James Campbell of Arkansas. Dear Grandfather of Colleen Casey Ian Duncan and Jessica. Loving great grandfather of Ava and Wilson. Dear brother of Sophie of Walkerton; and the late Pauline. Fondly remembered by his nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

Family will receive visitors at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound (705-746-5855) on Wednesday November 16th between the hours of 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrewís Presbyterian Church on Thursday November 17th at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow. Interment Hanover Cemetery.
