John Howard Hupfield passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on Monday, November 4th, 2024. Age 74 years.
Beloved husband of the late Peggy ‘Biindaasagekwe’ Hupfield (nee: Miller). Dear father of Johna (Brock), Maria (Jason), John (Deanne), and Mathew (Norissa). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Gracie, Naomi, Niigaunii, Oscar, Tkamse, Scarlett, Niimin, Zhekwe, Piper, and Biidaaban. Dear brother of Liz and her husband Phillip. Dear brother-in-law of John and the late Ora, Judy, Lenora, Aileen, Eldridge ‘Tiger’, and ‘Scuba’ Steve. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Resting at the Wasauksing Gathering Place, where friends will be received from 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday November 6th, until the Service on Thursday, November 7th at 11:00 A.M.
Fest to follow.
Cremation with Interment Wasauksing Cemetery.
Chi-miigwech to Zahgausgai, Waabenongo, Miinakamii, and Kwewak.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation (Healing Room) would be appreciated.
