Joan Slater passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018. Age 88 years.

Beloved wife of Ronald for 69 years. Mother of Judith, Rosalyn, and Nicholas. Grandmother of Ronald, Janet, Tim, and Colin. Great grandmother of Jessica and Carly. Great great grandmother of Claira.

As was Joan’s wish, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Joan’s life will take place at Trinity Anglican Church
Memorial Garden in the spring.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Clarke, Dr. Soto, and the health care teams. Thank you also to Rev. Nelson Small and the Trinity Anglican Church congregation for their continuous support. The family would also like to express their appreciation towards Joan’s kind neighbours and many friends.
