JIM ANDERSON
James Aubrey Anderson passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre with family by his side, on Monday, February 23rd, 2026. Age 65 years.
Beloved husband of Lorie (Watkinson) Anderson for over 45 years. Loving brother of Grace Temple (late husband Glen), Rocky and his wife Sandi, and the late David (Judy). Dear brother in law of Ralph Watkinson and his wife Leanne. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Resting at Bayside Family Church, 4 Parry Sound Drive, Parry Sound, where friends will be received on Saturday, February 28th from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. Funeral Service will take place at Bayside Family Church on Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow.
Interment Sylvan Acres Cemetery in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

To Jim’s Family I send condolences and my deepest sympathy.
I first met Jim ”1974” when we started Highschool it was easy to see he was a good person with strong convictions belief in something much greater than ourselves.
His talents were evident be it mechanical gunsmithing hunting fishing someone I was proud to call Friend.
Life had thrown curves his way but He never complained or lost Faith.
Godspeed my friend as You join in the company and presence of the Creator of all life

Lorie, so sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. It was his gun we carried with us to keep us safe on our cross Canada canoe trip (and thankfully we only needed it as a noise maker two or three times!) and I know you both kept us in our prayers. Thinking of you during this time!

I am so so very sad to hear this. Jim was an awesome neighbour on Nobel Road. My Jim and he chatted frequently and he took care of our vehicles when he had the shop.
Hope all your memories and faith get you through all this…..time does heal but not easy at the time.

So sorry to hear of Jims passing. He was a great addition to the Beaver Lumber hockey team back in the day. A hard working linemate. He loved his hockey then. Always so kind and pleasant. My sincere condolences to all the family. It was an honour and a privilege to have known him. God bless ya buddy.
