Janice Kay Horn passed away peacefully, with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Monday, January 15th, 2018. Age 61 years.

Beloved wife of Josh Pawis. Loving mother of Forrest and his wife Lesley; and Devan and his wife Ashlee. Stepmother of Sherrill and her husband Stan, and Joshua. Cherished ‘Gramma’ of Raven, Ononhkwatsherase, Carys, Lexi, Deztan, Aleila, Kyla, Taylor, Lily, and William. Dear sister of Nelva, Ronald “Sny”, Kevin, Jody, and the late Curtis. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends, and by her cherished dog Remington.

Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855) on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Visiting will continue at Poissant and Deer Funeral Home, (405-632-1515), Old Malone Highway, Kahnawake Québec, from Thursday, January 18th until the Service.

The Longhouse Ceremony will take place on Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 A.M., at Kahnawake First Nation, with a burial to follow.
