Iona Irene Babcock passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Monday March 26th 2012. Age 77 years.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph Babcock. Loving daughter of the late George and Myrtle Woodroffe. Dear mother of Terry and his companion Diana of Parry Sound; Tracy and her husband Geordie Ray of Orillia; Brant and his wife Bonnie of MacTier; Christine and her husband David Ritchie of Parry Sound. Loving Nana of Joanne Wesley Noah Kayla Drake Graham and Nicole. Dear sister of the late Wynjeane Osborne George Woodroffe and Lennox Woodroffe. Fondly remembered by her nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the nursing medical and support staff at Serenity Lakeland Long Term Care and the West Parry Sound Health Centre. A special thank you to Dr. Stuart Shaw.

A Service in Celebration of Ionaís Life will take place at the MacTier United Church on Wednesday March 28th at 1:00 P.M. Friends will be received prior to the Service from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.
