Aunt Helen's family send our sympathies to Helen's partner Tom and deepest gratitude to Donna who was a wonderful companion of Helen's for many years. Community Living Parry Sound were terrific support, and in later years Helen's nephew Brian and Maria Harris were loving supporters. As were many staff at Lakeland Long Term Care - Helen enjoyed activities and companionship. As they say - it takes a village - volunteers and friends ran errands, shuttle service to church, vacation or entertainments. May we all enjoy such lovely people as we age.

We are sad but also glad for happy for memories of Aunt Helen, she loved swimming, family picnics with noisy kids, anticipation of birthdays and Christmas. Nobody reminded us of the spirit of Christmas like Aunt Helen. Thank you everyone for remembering what a lovely lady she is. Susan and Paul.

So sad to hear of Helen’s passing. I was a friend of hers from St James, and she inspired us all. I loved her laugh, her kindness her humor and zest for life. I have to admit I did sneak sour crème and onion chips into Lakeland many times for her! I hope someone will do the same for me! Peace to you Helen we love you.

We became friends with Helen in Marmora and enjoyed a few visits since that time. She was a happy caring soul, loved taking her for ice cream.
