HANS DIETL

Hans Georg Dietl passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Sunday, September 4th, 2022. Age 90 years.

Beloved husband of Gwenda for 62 years. Dear father of Rick and his wife Laurie; and Jeff and his wife Linda. Loving Opa of Brandon, Travis, Samantha “Sammy”, and the late Shayne. Dear brother of Anneliese. Fondly remembered by his other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the West Parry Sound Health Centre for their care of Hans.

As was Hans’ wish, cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.

Gwenda, Rick, Jeff, and all the Dietl family.

Our deepest condolences.
We are so sorry for your loss. I will always recall with a smile the boat ride on Lake Ontario with Hans and Jeff almost 50 years ago.   The great times at 871 Tananger, but most of all I'll remember his laugh. A great man with a great family.
He'll be missed.
All our love,

Dear Gwenda, Rick and Laurie
We are saddened for your loss. Hans was such a strong man. He had such respect for nature and his family. He treated people with respect but did not suffer fools. I am grateful to have seen him outside enjoying the sun before I left for holiday. I suspect that he was tired and annoyed with his latest disability. Despite his strong will and determination I feel that to live less than in optimal health and to perceive himself as a burden was untenable for him. Although I was not present I expect he died as he lived with dignity. Please accept our sincere condolences. Nancy and Bob Wallace
