Joseph Jean-Guy Lavigne passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Monday, January 30th, 2017. Age 86 years.

Beloved husband of the late Joan (Warren) Lavigne. Pre-deceased by his parents, Thomas and Anna Lavigne. Dear father of Karen and her husband Herbert Thompson (and late husband Jack Reimer); Donald Lavigne and his wife Delena; Gary Lavigne and his wife Dianne; Kimberly and her husband Otto Ten Hoeve. Loving Grand-dad of Jordan, Matthew, Darren, David, Maggie, Morgan, Josh, and Danny. Great Grandpa of Aiden, Olivia, Peyton, Nathan, Chloe, and Faustina. Dear brother of Donald, Gerald, Raymond, Irene, Theresa, and the late Leonard, Jeannette, Lorraine and William. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

As was Guy’s request, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 52 Church Street, Parry Sound, will take place on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
