It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Father Gordon Roy beloved husband for 53 years of Betty Suzanne. Dear Father of Mark and his wife Melike Schalomon of Edmonton Tim and his wife Karen of Parry Sound Rebecca Johnson and partner Fathiyeh Gainey of Toronto Gordon and his wife Jennifer of Parry Sound. Proud Grandfather of Liam and Luka Schalomon and Louis Johnson. Dear brother of the late Ronald. He will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends.

Dad will always be remembered for his strength and independence his selfless devotion to his family and his wife Betty whom he loyally and dearly loved. Born and raised in Parry Sound he was naturally a big hockey fan. Gord worked half his career at the Wm Beatty Co. and half at the West Parry Sound Board of Education. Upon retiring to their home on Carling Bay he spent many hours along with his wife Betty volunteering in their community. He was an inspiration to all of us and will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
