Gordon Herbert Green passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday December 13th 2011 in his 77th year after a long and courageous battle with Parkinsonís Disease. Loving husband and best friend of Theresa(Terry) Green for 58 Ω years. Dear father of Russell and his wife Audrey; Kevin and his wife Mavis; Tammy Fisher and her husband Andrew. Loving grandfather of Angela (Shawn) Bovay; Sabrina Green (Mike); Vanessa (Dave) Wightman; Jason (Megan) Green; Ashlyn Fisher (Carter); Carisa Green and her fiancÈ Nick. Loving great grandfather of Isaiah and Parker Bovay. Beloved son of the late Herbert and Cora Green. Dear brother of Patricia Beatty; Ruth (husband the late Eldon) Jacobs; Shirley (John) Furber; Ronald Bud (Helen); Ross (Joyce); the late Phyllis Dandie and Arnold (wife Fern of Hamilton). Fondly remembered by his many nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

Gord and Terry lived in their favourite place Carling Township for the past 35 years and Gord was one of the founders of the Carling Fire Department and the Carling Trailblazers.

A Celebration of Gordonís Life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound (705-746-5855) on Tuesday December 20th at 11:00 A.M. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre (Transitional Ward) or Hospice West Parry Sound would be appreciated.
