Ruth Geraldine ‘Dean’ Kingshott passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025. Age 96 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gary (1993). Loving mother of Flora Swift; Bill (Sharyn); Susan Tait (Brian); Tom (Rhonda); Paul (Elaine); and Russell. Cherished grandmother of Kim, Trina, and Larry; Rob, Dale, David, and Janalene; Bryanne; Clinton; Veronica and Gary; and Lacey. Dean will be missed by her many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Bill Lashbrook, Stella Goodman, Mary Chapman, Joyce MacRae, Emmiline Schmidt, Catherine Wallace, Shirley Olsen, Connie Elliott, Tom Lashbrook, Dick Lashbrook, Charlie Lashbrook, and Ross Lashbrook. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
As was Dean’s wish, cremation has taken place. A Private family service and interment will take place at the Humphrey Rosseau Union Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.

Our deepest condolences to the whole family. Dine and Gary were some the first people who we met when we moved to Parry Sound in 1979. We rented a home of theirs across the street where they lived and got to know the family. Dine was engaging and so friendly and we are sure she will be missed.
