George ‘Sock’ Ryerson Harold Pawis (Eagle Staff Carrier) passed away suddenly at the Georgian Bay General Hospital Midland on Friday September 24th 2010. Age 79 years.

Husband of the late Elizabeth Betty Jane Pawis. Father of Sherry Garry Catherine Gail Pamela Cameron Steven and his fiancÈe Kristy. Mishomis to Nicole Jake and Presley. Loving brother of Lila Violet Valerie Sandra Clarence Betty Ann and the late Cecil Lorne Reggie Mac Donald Robert Garth and their spouses. Fondly remembered by Stella. Sadly missed by his many nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

Family will receive visitors at the Shawanaga United Church on Monday September 27th 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until the Service on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment Shawanaga Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
