Frances Thecla Shamess (Farr) passed away at the Village of Erin Meadows Long Term Care Mississauga on Monday August 8th 2011. Age 87 years.

Beloved wife of the late Albert S. Shamess. Dear mother of Albert Jr. and his wife Sandra of Ottawa; Catherine Shamess of Mississauga; Michael and his wife Rita of Etobicoke; Robert and his wife Jill of Waterloo; Elizabeth Shamess of Mississauga; Tim and his wife Terry-Lynn of Parry Sound. Loving Nanny of Janda and Matthew; Daniel; Amanda and Rebecca. Dear sister of Laura Lankin; Arkell Farr; the late William Farr and Helen Peachey. Fondly remembered by her nieces nephews other relatives friends and Mojo.

Family will receive visitors at the Logan Funeral Home on Thursday August 11th 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church on Friday August 12th at 11:00 A.M. followed by cremation.
