Fran passed away at home on June 24th. Beloved wife of the late Lubek Rutke.
Beloved sister of the late Jean (Fred) Chaplin and Helen (John) Klaponski.

Loving mother of Elaine (John) Fritz of Bobcaygeon Allen of Newmarket Susan (Gord) Miller of North Bay and Andrea (Eric) McIntyre.

Grandmother to Tracey (Jason) David (Kathryn) Jeremy Tim Xander (Riho) Walter Pamela (Matt) and Mathew. Great grandmother to Abbey Cait and Rora.

Fran came to Parry Sound in 1997 and was warmly welcomed into the community. She was active in the arts community line dancing horticulture club and had sung with the Parry Sound Singers. She loved gardening and painting. A crowning achievement was her recent one-woman art show depicting a 90 year journey through the world. Her enjoyment and zest for life were an inspiration to all who knew her as was her willingness to help others.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday June 27 at 1 pm at Logan’s Funeral Home with a reception at the CP station to follow.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the West Parry Sound District Museum or Harvest Share would be appreciated.
