It is with heavy hearts that the family of Francine Donna Elizabeth King announce her sudden passing at home on Thursday, December 26th, 2024. Age 57 years.
Beloved wife of Daniel Smart. Loving mother of the late Andrew “Daabaasung” King and Mishquaziiwan King. Cherished Grandma of Jaelyn, Trenton, Christian, Andrew Jr., Easton, and Gracie. Loving daughter of the late Stewart and Donna King, and daughter-in-law of the late Wilmer and Audrey Smart. Dear sister of Ken, Sharon, the late Tim, and Jeff (wife Wenonah). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Fran was affectionately known as ‘Auntie Fran’ to many.
Resting at the Wasauksing Gathering Place, where friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow.
Cremation.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

I worked alongside Fran for a number of years. She brought joy, compassion and a huge smile into the building everyday.
