Floyd C. Woods of Ardbeg Ontario died tragically in a traffic accident on Friday June 24 2011. Age 80 years.

Born and raised in Ardbeg Floyd later lived in Toronto where he worked for Wilsonís Truck lines from the 1950s until he retired and returned to Ardbeg in 1988. Floyd was very active in his community serving on the volunteer fire department working enthusiastically to support the Community Club and playing fiddle and guitar with the local music group.

Floyd was predeceased by his beloved wife Louise. He is survived by his son Murray (Debbie) daughter Colleen Drautz (Mitch) and granddaughters Bethany and Erin. He is fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 28 2011 at Trinity Anglican Church in Parry Sound. Visiting will be from 1:00 until 2:00 the same day. Donations may be made to the Parkinsonís Society of Canada (http://www.parkinson.ca) as expressions of sympathy.
