FLORENCE DARLINGTON

Florence Darlington passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care, on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022. Age 75 years.

Beloved daughter of the late Millerd and Beatrice Darlington. Dear sister of Bob and Pauline Darlington, and Shirley Little. Loving aunt of Shawn (Tami), Jennifer (Geoff), Jodie (Dave), James (Christine), and Tracey (Greg). Fondly remembered by her great nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Florence grew up on the Darlington farm. When she graduated from high school, she moved to Toronto. Florence married Bill Kidd; they lived in the Tweed area and built a log home south of Perth. Florence worked in real estate, and she and Bill operated their own car wash business in Perth. Later in life, with her partner Dan, Florence lived in a straw built home north of Kingston. Her last home was in Wedgeport, an Acadian village north of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. After her partners death, she moved back to Parry Sound.

As was Florence’s wish, cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson Canada or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
