FAYE MARWOOD

Marion Faye Marwood passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024. Age 96 years.

Loving mother of Julie Lea and her husband Edmund, Jennifer Rade and her husband Doug, and the late David. Cherished Grandma of Jeremy (Tamara), and Scott (Anna). Dear sister of Marjorie, Vera, and the late Stan, and Lucy. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Faye’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Honsinger, Dr. Madigan, Dr. Rietze, and the Palliative Care team at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.

Mrs Marwood was a treasured friend of my Nana’s and I lived beside her for some time as well and she’d make sure I had plenty to eat. She was a wonderful lady and I’ll always remember her for her generosity and kindness.

I have a particular memory of playing in the front yard at Marwood's with Julie and other neighbourhood friends, and Faye brought out peanut butter and banana sandwiches for us. What a very kind things to do, and smart too, all the mess stayed outside. My sympathies to the family.
