Elsie Kathleen (Preston) Helmkay passed away at Lakeland Long Term Care on Sunday April 11th 2010. Age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Dear mother of Bernadette and her husband Sheldon Bailey of Parry Sound; Donna and her husband Everett Jacklin of Christie; Edward and his wife Marilyn of Humphrey; Allan of Swords; and the late Isabel.
Loving Grandma of Darcy (Rose) Bailey; Tracy (Doug) Mullen; Darlene Jacklin; Milly (Kevin) Thomson; Spencer (Lynn) Jacklin; Kevin; Mark; Scott (Keri) Adam Eddie and Kristopher Helmkay. Loving great Grandma of James Aubrey Shelby Shalyn Turner Taylor Ethan Camryn Jessie Kayla McKenzie and Noah. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Deborah Preston.
Dear sister of the late Claydon (Birdie) Preston; Ida (Gordon) Helmkay; Sarah (Ken) MacKinnon; Grace (Murray) Marden; and John (Evelyn) Preston. Fondly remembered by her nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
Family will receive visitors at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound on Tuesday April 13th 2010 between the hours of 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Funeral Service in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Wednesday April 14th at 2:00 P.M. Interment Christie Memorial Cemetery followed by a reception at the Orrville Community Centre.
