Edward Ed Helmkay passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday April 10th 2012. Age 68 years.

Ed leaves behind his beloved wife Marilyn (Jackson) Helmkay and his sons Kevin and Mark and his much loved granddaughter Jessie-Lou. Fondly remembered by Markís wife Natalie and Kevinís friend Kevin. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Orma (Gordon) Helmkay and his step-mother Elsie (Preston) Helmkay. Dear brother of Bernadette and her husband Sheldon Bailey; Donna and her husband Everett Jacklin;
Allan; and the late Isobel. Edward will be sadly missed by his nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Edís Life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home on Saturday April 14th at 2:00 P.M. Family will receive visitors prior from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
