Douglas Gignac passed away peacefully with family by his side at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Thursday January 20th 2011. Age 77 years.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia Gignac.

Loving father of Deanna and her husband Ken Jackson of McKellar; Doug and his wife Carol of Port Credit.

Loving grandfather of Steven James and John.

Loving companion of Marta Chouinor.

Dear Brother of Jackie and her husband Andrew; Benny and his wife Donna; Gail and her husband the late Gerry; Wayne and his wife Rose; Johnny and his wife Sandy; and the late Jean Ferrier Ted and Kenneth.

Fondly remembered by his many loving relatives and friends.

Family will receive visitors at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound (705-746-5855) on Monday January 24th between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Visitation to follow at St. James Centennial United Church on Tuesday January 25th from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.

Service of Remembrance to take place at St. James Centennial United Church on Tuesday January 25th at 1:00 P.M. followed by a reception.
