Douglas Theodore West passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday February 8th 2011. Age 85 years.

Beloved husband of the late May Catherine (Gauvreau) West. Dear father of Kathy Horan of Calgary AB; Karen and her husband Harvey Nelson of North Bay; Keith and his wife Donna West of Victoria B.C. Loving grandfather of Christopher Robert and Greg Mike and Dave and great grandfather of Reeve and Jordan. Lovingly remembered by siblings Winnie Ken Gerald Vern Bob Carol Glenna Arnie Jack Dennis Patti Dan and the late Mark Ted Glen and their families. Dear brother-in-law to Shirley Guitard (late Gilbert and Marcel) Noella Graham (late Bill) Simone Jackson (late Bruce) and the late Rita and Pat Murray. Fondly remembered by his nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound (705-746-5855) on Thursday February 10th between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Service in the Chapel on Friday February 11th at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception.
