DOROTHY (DOT) REMY
Dorothy Remy passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18th, 2022, at Lakeland Long Term Care, at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late Al Remy. Loving mother of daughters Virginia Locker and her husband Ken, and Marilyn Mooder and her husband Richard. Loving Gran of Andrew Locker (Rogner Vieira), Stacey de Jong (Ken), Mark Mooder (Carrie de Greef), and pre-deceased by Angela Mooder. Loving Great Grandma of Sydney and Ryan de Jong; and Charlotte and Kaitlin Mooder. Dear sister of Kathleen Thornton. Dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy’s family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Leigh Davis, and the wonderful staff at Lakeland Long Term Care.
As was Dorothy’s wish, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Visitation will take place at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound, on Saturday September 17th, from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. Wearing of face masks is optional, but appreciated.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
