Donald V.G. Johnston passed away peacefully with family at his side at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Friday May 25th 2012. Don fought a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Age 68 years.

Beloved husband of Barb. Dear father of Kimberly and her husband Dwain Burns; Kelly and her husband Patrick Lassaline. Loving Pompa of Brady and Liam; Olivia Jillian Claire and Alexander. Loving son of the late Mervin and Ruby Johnston. Dear brother of the late Murray (wife Sharon of Whitby). Fondly remembered by his nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

Sincere thank you to all the doctors and third floor nurses who assisted in his excellent care especially Dr. Fargher and Dr. Decker.

Funeral Service to take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Thursday May 31st at 10:00 A.M. Reception to follow at St. James Centennial United Church.
