The Facer and Whitley families are sad to announce that Richard Alfred Facer (retired teacher) passed away peacefully in Parry Sound on Saturday May 28th 2011. Age 75 years.

Beloved co-vivant of Sue Whitley. Loving father of Gaye Facer and her husband Tim Irwin; Anne and her husband Graeme Hughes; Allison and her husband Jamie Munn; Cameron and his wife Karen Weber. Proud Grandpa Dick to Emma Claire Noah and Grace Sierra and Jackson. Dear brother of Sheila Thomson and the late Ann King. Fondly remembered by his nieces nephews colleagues former students and sailors.

Visitation to be held at the Logan Funeral Home 81 James Street Parry Sound on Wednesday June 1st between the hours of 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. Service to take place in the Chapel on Thursday June 2nd at 2:00 P.M.
