DEBORAH LYNN WHEATLEY
Deborah Lynn Wheatley, age 63, of Wind Gap, PA passed away on January 10th, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Born in Pembroke, ON, to Alfreda (neé Noganosh) and Gary Sydney Wheatley. The third child in an Army family, she grew up as a proud member of the Ojibwe Tribe of Magnetawan First Nation.
Debbie graduated with a BSC from Ryerson University in Toronto and dedicated her career to vaccine manufacturing at Sanofi, working in both Toronto, Canada and Swiftwater, Pennsylvania. A long-time employee in filling, packaging and manufacturing science, she was deeply respected for her strong work ethic and technical expertise.
Introduced to golf by her mother and father, Debbie developed a lifelong love for the game. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her friends and fellow golfers hold dear many memories – from league play and championship wins to unforgettable golf trips, including a special journey to the historic links at St. Andrews in Scotland. Patience was one of Debbie’s greatest virtues. She generously shared her knowledge both at work and on the golf course. She also loved to bake and crochet, gifting her friends and neighbours with treasured recipes and beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind creations.
Debbie’s warm spirit, numerous acts of kindness, sense of humour, and unwavering love of golf will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her and sharing the game she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brother Gary (Rosel), her sisters Carol and Sue, her nephew Lance, and niece Sydney, and great-nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, on Saturday, January 24th, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A service in Celebration of Debbie’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with a Reception to follow the service.

I’m deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Debbie. She was my first manager at Sanofi Toronto site. She was a wonderful person and great mentor. I hope her memories bring comfort to your family in the days ahead. Please know I’m thinking of you and your family.

It is with great sadness to learn of Debbie’s passing. Debbie and I worked together for over twenty years both in Canada and the US. She helped my family to transition to our move to the US, she was a dedicated work colleague and more importantly a friend. My sincerest condolences to the family.

Sending endless comfort prayers and condolences. My memories of Deborah are mostly childhood ones where her Dad amd mine, who were brothers, ensured we knew who our families were.
She was always kind and smiled alot. Visiting the army homes my uncle was stationed at was always fun..but Deborah and her sister were the most fun.
While our adult life did not cross paths much I am truly saddened by the news of her passing.
