DAVID GEORGE PERRY

David George Perry in his 45th year died of cancer on Wednesday October 4 in Parry Sound Ontario surrounded by his family and cherished friends. David was the eldest son of Peter and Judy Perry of Collingwood Ontario; father of Christopher Olesen; partner of Patti Morel; brother of Jane (Patrick Teti) Alison (Douglas Moggach) and Cullen (Michele); and uncle of Iain and Catriona Moggach and Graham Emma and Rowan Perry. David was a much-loved and respected teacher at Rosseau Lake College. No academic or physical challenge was beyond him. He was a graduate of Lakefield College School York University and Georgian College (Marine Engineering). David was a former captain of the brigantines STV Playfair and Pathfinder to mention just one of his many skills and achievements.
At Davidís request a celebration of his life will take place at Rosseau Lake College a school he loved deeply. This will be held on Sunday October 22nd commencing at 11:00 am. All are invited. A room will be dedicated to Davidís memory in the schoolís new academic building to be constructed early next year. Friends wishing to remember David with a contribution may send it (marked ëPerry Memorialí) to Rosseau Lake College Rosseau Ontario P0C 1J0. All donations will be gratefully acknowledged by the College and by the family.
