DAVE ALDRIDGE
David Joseph Aldridge
Passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at home on Monday, June 30th, 2025, at the age of 77.
Dave was a man of many passions, an avid music lover who cherished his stereo collection, a devoted hockey fan, and a talented photographer who found joy developing his own photos in his dark room. He also found peace and purpose in his garden.
Dave lived a full and healthy life with his beloved wife Barbara of 54 years, creating wonderful memories together and building a beautiful family. He was a loving father of Deborah Leanne Aldridge (Jason), Amanda Allison Aldridge (Scott), Karen Anne Ribble (Mike), and Kimberley Ann Vodden (Tom McDonald). Cherished Grandpa of Kenneth (Becky), Kyle (Anna), Kayla (Desi), Kurtis, Allison, Ryan, Natalie, Allisa, Hannah, and Reilly. Proud Great-Grandpa of Brooklyn, Michael, Logan, Naomi, Oliver, Alayah, and Henry. Dear brother of Judy, Diane, Karen, Gary, and the late Donna and Kenneth. Brother-in-law of Darlene, Ida, Joanne, and Debbie. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life on Friday, July 4th, from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M at the Logan Memorial Chapel, 81 James Street, Parry Sound.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
Sorry for your loss. Dave was a great guy, always laughing making jokes clowning around but he was a wonderful husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, cousin and friends to many of us present and past. He’s my ” big bro ” and I will miss him alot. RIP Bro, will see you again sometime. 😪🙏
