2011 – 2024

Dear Family & Friends,

Darius Isaac Howard Pamajewon passed away suddenly on Monday, June 17, 2024 after suffering a brain injury that inevitably took everything that Darius was as a person.

He was surrounded by his mother, Nongonse (Candace), by his grandmothers Ann and Elaine, his siblings, Nasha and Evander, his Auntie Bella and Uncle D and his many other Aunties and Uncles, cousins and friends. Too many to name — but chi miigwetch for loving him and sharing some time with him.

Darius was loved by many. He has left behind so many friends and we’re sad for each of you. It’s ok to feel sad but please remember Darius and all that he was. How he helped you in some way or another. How his kindness was a big part of who he was. His smile, and his excitement to see you or to share that special handshake!

There will be no formal funeral but rather a celebration of life, to honor him in a good way, which will be held in his home community of Shawanaga on July 9th, 2024 at the family home.
